1. The service
MadeBy lets you submit requests for software, websites, apps, automation and related work, receive quotes, communicate with us and receive deliveries.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what happens under your account. Give accurate information. Tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Requests and quotes
Submitting a request does not create an obligation for either side. Work begins only when you accept a written quote. The quote states the scope, price, timeline, payment terms and ownership of the work, and governs the project together with these terms.
We may decline a request. You may cancel a request before work starts without charge.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the platform to submit anything unlawful, to harm others, to infringe rights, to attempt to gain access to other people’s data, or to disrupt the service. Do not upload malware. We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
5. Your content
You keep the rights to what you submit. You allow us to use it only as needed to deliver the service to you. You confirm you have the right to share it with us.
6. Confidentiality
We treat your requests and files as confidential and use them only to provide the service.
7. No guarantee of uninterrupted service
We work to keep the platform available but cannot promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The platform is provided as is, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited as set out in the accepted quote, and in any case does not extend to indirect or consequential losses.
9. Ending the relationship
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these terms. Sections that by nature should continue (confidentiality, ownership, liability) do so.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Chile. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Chile, without prejudice to the rights that Law No. 19,496 on consumer protection grants to consumers.
